We work in small batches on a weekly cadence to promise consistency and quality.

πΏ PROCESSING
Every Monday β
We carefully remove film from the canister and run it through chemicals at exacting temperatures to produce the best possible image.
The cut off for getting to the weekβs development is 9am on Monday morning.
π³ SCANNING
Every Tuesday β
From the developed negatives, we will digitize them through a process of DSLR scanning. The images will then be color corrected, cropped, and packaged up for you to download as high quality jpgs.
If we receive your film before Monday, you will get your scans back by Tuesday evening.
Youβre always welcome to contact us here:

Frequently Asked Questions
NOTE: Starting in 2025, to curb on the heavy use of plastic involved in film development, we will be returning negatives uncut in canisters instead of plastic sleeves. Learn more here.
Can I get my negatives back?
Yes, upon request. We have a film locker that will make it easy for you to pick up your negatives at your convenience. When dropping off your film, make sure to write on the bag that youβd like your negatives back. Instructions will be included in your WeTransfer email.
We only keep negatives for 1 month after the development date.
Can I get the negatives shipped to me?
Yes! Itβs an additional $10 to cover shipping costs. Add option to get your negative shipped back here.
Can I push/pull my film?
It is an additional $5 per roll to push or pull. You can add that option to your cart here. Remember to specify which roll youβd like this applied to!
Can I make specific requests for my scans?
Here are options that weβre happy to accommodate if you make a note of it on your order:
Warm or cool toned scans (default is neutral)
Un-cropped scans (some black borders will show in your image)
Flat contrast scans
Can I get higher quality scans?
Yes β we send out high quality jpgs by default (approx. 5000x3000px for 35mm) because it seems to be more manageable for most folks.
If youβd like to receive tiffs (or even raw files of your negative scans!), please make a note of it at drop off. We do not recommend this for the average photographer.
Do you process slide film (E-6) or ECN-2 film?
No, and we do not currently have plans to do so. We currently only develop with BW & C-41 chemicals.
If you would like your film to be cross processed with C-41, weβd be happy to! Just make a note of it when you drop off your film.
What size film do you develop?
35mm and 120 film. We do NOT develop 110 or APS.
When can I expect to get my scans back?
We run our processing and scanning on a weekly basis. Development is done on Mondays and scanning is done on Tuesdays. If you submitted your roll before 9am on Monday, you can anticipate a download link emailed to you by Tuesday evening.
Why the weekly cadence?
Aside from developing film, we also work on other things (film production, music, painting, and our own photography!). The weekly cadence allows us to continue working on projects while maintaining consistency in timing and quality for you.
Rather than sporadically developing throughout the week, we believe that dedicating entire days to the process ensures that all our focus goes towards film development.
